I bought a pair of these recently when they were £16.99 and used them during recent travels. The quality is great, as the pants kept me dry on rainy days, warm and also dried very quickly after washing. Unfortunately only small sizes are left, but it's an incredible price for ACG (all conditions gear) pants.

• Men's - sizes 28 and 30

    Not sure about the men's but the women's were not a tight fit.

      The reviews on The Hut all say this runs a size small. Do you recommend buying your standard AUS size in these, or size up? Thanks

        For me, they were a standard AU women's size 6 in terms of the waist and hips. The legs were not a slim fit. I can't vouch for other sizes I'm afraid.

        it is really insulated? i just cant figure out how insulation goes with quick-dry fabric.
        how thick is the insulation layer?

        i have a couple of ski pants.

        the main title says "insulated" but in the description is "lined." i think the latter is more accurate. my oakley snowboard pants are properly insulated with the fluffy fleecy stuff :p

        The inner layer is not fleece, but a thin layer of soft white polyester. I have not tested it in snow, but it kept me very warm under 10 degrees.

  I did a search on The Hut, it actually looks like there are two DIFFERENT versions of the pant. See this link when you do a search of Nike ACG: http://www.thehut.com/elysium.search?search=nike+acg

  There appear to be two different styles.

  1) Nike Men's ACG Cairn Lined Pant - Black

  2) Nike Men's ACG Cairn Insulated Pant - Black

  I imagine why the description is the same is because they've done a cut and paste job without thinking. But if you look closely at the pictures they are slightly different styles.

  The lined pant clearly has a buckle on the back waist, the photos for the insulated pant do not.

  I imagine there is also going to be a difference with their lining and thickness. 'Insulated' sure sounds a lot warmer than just 'lined'.

    Sorry don't know anything about skiing/snowboarding. It will probably be dry but I'm not sure if it would be warm enough for those conditions.
