DSE Clearance Items - Various Items - $0.15 to $20 + Postage (Variable Depending on Items)

590

Evening Fellow OzBargainers.

Yes I know we are all sick and tired of these DSE deals which by the time 99.9% of us click on, are either sold out (not available for online ordering), or the nearest store with stock is 2000km away (and then there is a 50% chance a DSE staff member has hidden it out the back for themselves to purchase on pay day)…

I thought most of the good stuff would have been sold out by yesterday but decided to go clearance hunting and still found a few good items to choose and buy and now feel the urge the 'share the bargain love'.

So How to find a bargain.

On the DSE site click on clearance on the far right, a drop down will appear allowing you to choose by category, price, or brand.. If you are like me and looking for a few cheap bargains, select $0-$20.

On the next screen select Grid as the view (unless you prefer List). Grid lets you quickly see what is available (less scrolling) and if there is a tick next to home delivery you can order it online rather than hunting it down at stores nearby. You can also sort by price so you get your cheapy items displayed first such as 8m standard extension phone cords for only 15 cents.

Some bargains I noticed are

Emtec Looney Tunes Sylvester 4gb Flash Drive for $4.97 (http://dicksmith.com.au/product/JT3001/emtec-looney-tunes-sy…) - not the cheapest USB but great for the kids - less likely to loose it perhaps - or become traumatised if they do.

Xbox 360 Zumba Fitness Rush for $10 (http://dicksmith.com.au/product/YG1943/xbox-360-zumba-fitnes…)

PS3 Move Navigation Controller $15 (http://dicksmith.com.au/product/YG7365/ps3-move-navigation-c…)

Memory Wii Motion Controller $10 (http://dicksmith.com.au/product/YG4141/memorex-wii-motion-co…)- I ordered a few and my order was fulfilled so I'm hoping they have a good deal of these still.

XBox 360 Black Eye Peas $3.75 (http://dicksmith.com.au/product/YG2779/xbox-360-black-eye-pe…)

Australian 80 Gsm Paper $2.60 (http://dicksmith.com.au/product/XM1957/australian-80gsm-a4-o…)

Logitech Wireless Touchpad $21.75 (http://dicksmith.com.au/product/XH2214/logitech-wireless-tou…) - reviews were not too glowing so decided not to buy it)

At the time of me writing these, all these items had home delivery and the ones I did buy, all were processed… I realise this is almost a forum post, but I believe the few gems of bargains I found this way are worth letting others know before they sell out…

Hopefully nobody is overly annoyed at this being 'yet another DSE sale posting'

  • PS3 navigation controller was cheaper at Kmart or target/whatever.
And last time there was that games clearance, memorex wii controllers were $2.

    • When I bought the Dr Who sonic screwdriver wii controller from ozgameshop for $9.95 I thought that was a good price (and ended up getting defective product and don't think I ended up seeing a refund issued but that's another story) .. No doubt some of these items listed would have been sold previously at well below manufacturing price for those who are quick and fortunate enough to purchase them.

All things considered $10 is still I think reasonable — may not be a 'killer of a bargain' however.

$2…I paid $10 for the memorex motion plus last sale ? (The sale prior to this one)

      • i got 4 of those for $2 each. and nunchucks for the same price.
        on that ridiculous sale….

        • Man, I got ripped !!!

        • -2

How many of them are still in working condition?

        • I remember that. Got a couple of controllers for $2 as well. All working fine. Still going. That was about the same time as the kits for the DS for $1 and the phone cables for $1.

    • ~$12 delivered from UK

Man that's dam cheap for some good clean traumatisation. Beats sneaking them into a MA movie at the cinema where popcorn and a drink can cost you 10 bucks.

  • 1+ for the effort.

Netgear Push2Tv HD would have been nice but not available anymore. Sold out between 1 and 5 am…wonder if Dick smith staff is monitoring making sure to take these offline after an oz bargain broadcast!

  • a lot of the games have already been covered in previous posts

  • I snagged a heap of 3DS games cheap for my kids from a prior post so upvoted for sure!

  • Philips AS351 Fidelio Android Dock $44.95

I think I paid about $59.95 for this dock from Dicks about 3 months ago.
    I has a RRP of about $130.
It is an awesome dock that would be easily worth over $100 for the quality of the unit. I use it primarily to stream internet radio.

    Works without fault.

    • -1

I'd get it if it supported phone calls. Even my cheap Belkin speaker does that.

      • -1

They must be pretty shit calls then.
I typically will use my phone for phone calls.

  • Hey Guys

Wondering if someone could pick up these and post them really keen on them?

  • They've got the Panasonic Micro HiFi as a clearance stock (even worse, they used it as a display photo of its category and it's $399. I've seen it for under $300 and jbhifi has it stocked for $336 normal price tag.
