Ginger beer for adults! Was in my local Dan Murphy's (Rouse Hill) and saw Franks Ginger beer for $2 a bottle (heard possibly $1.19, on good authority ;) ). Not a bad ginger beer, not as sweet as Crabbies. This deal appears to be in store only. All stores should be the same price in NSW.

At 4% and 1.6 standard drinks a 500ml bottle, this stuff is cheaper than water** but classier than goon and/or passion pop.

      I suspect that they've all priced themselves out of the market somewhat at ~$6/bottle & not turning much over…I'm told (unconfirmed pub convo) that alcoholic GB doesn't have the same shelf life as either regular beer or NA GB, so there could be a mandate to move it more quickly.

          Acquired taste then. I've had many ginger beers, brewed my own heaps as well - regular and accidentally alcoholic

          Franks tastes like fruit wine with some ginger flavour added.. Not my idea of what ginger beer should be.
