I came across this and find it half price of normal market price in Australia.
In store only, still got quite a few stock at postcode 4122 and logan.
Cheers!

I managed to pick up 3 pairs last week at that price, for the money they are what you would expect. A lot more comfortable than I thought they would be. Don't sound as nice as any of my good headphones but I don't care if these get sat on or broken by the kids.
I hold on one @ $8.98 in my local DSE last week, didnt pickup yet :p
Hold can only last for 24 hours… LOL
Yeah it's long since been returned to the floor stock and some body else has bought it. Click n Collect hold lasts for 24 hours. Some body is going to be disappointed.
I remember some years back there were headphones with rumblers. Made by Takstar. You installed batteries inline, and switched on when you wanted the 'bass' type sound. Don't see them these days and not on Google either.
If anyone wants a review of these as i got a pair for $8.98 from dick smith.
They sound decent, but are probably the most uncomfortable pair of headphones i have ever owned.
I personally found them very comfortable. Not the best fit but my ears fit in the cups. much more comfortable for my headshape than the cheap TDK headphones they are replacing. Not as comfortable as my K141's but again, different need and use… and price.
Luckily even I got them last week for $8.98. For the price, they fit the bill. Decent quality, comfortable fit and they don't look cheap either.
Currently DSE have 35% off Sony headphones, so the MDR-MA100 is $9.72
Based on a review on head-fi they seem like a good deal.
I got the last pair from doncaster today accidentally as I was exchanging key-chains (didn't even knew these headphones were posted on here). Anyway, the sales person was surprised they were only seven dollars. Btw, make sure you put them on correctly with the left and right signs facing your eyes. I made the mistake of wearing them the other way around, and it was very uncomfortable. Sound-wise it's comparable to my Logitech ultimate ears 100. It is cheap, but doesn't look like seven dollars.
these were $8.98 last week. I bought 2 pairs.
