Free Burgers at Grill'd Carousel as part of their opening celebration!
Pretty decent burgers too, probably worth checking out if your going to be around there!

No need to show any voucher? Also, would it be any burger from their whole range? Or just a select few?
Not that I am aware of, all the finer details that I know are in the small print on the pic submitted!
Cheers, just sorted me a feed Friday after work ;-)
I've been to one before and it was any burger. Grill'd are great btw, some grill'd stores are better than others, but overall, I'm a fan. (Esp the ones not in Canberra that I can drink at).
Interesting. The grill'd near me (shafto lane WA) is bland rubbish. I've tried half a dozen different flavours as a result of work catering, was not impressed with a single one.
Jus Burgers, burger bistro, the local shack are all better (and in that order).
I had a good one there the other night after the dockers win!
I find Grill'd better than Jus but I haven't tried the shafto one
that shafto lane one was the first Grill'd i ever tried. had the Caesar's Palace and it was fantastic. was on their opening day too thus an exceptional effort
when the scarborough Grill'd opened, i had the same burger it wasn't done nearly as well.
It's gonna be packed.
Yup, and only valid for dine in.
near the hoyts cinema. hmmm…
Hopefully the mice the have been eradicated
.
just so you know last time they did this in the city the line was massive, a lot of people dissapointed, took ages. i finished my extra long lunch break and people barely moved in the line. but thanks for letting us know
yeah it was. when i got there a few minutes after 11, i joined the queue about 100m from the entrance. but the line moved quite fast and i think i only waited 20-30 minutes before i got in and about 8 minutes until my burger arrived. finished my burger and got out so they could let others in.
but at the scarborough opening i went to, no line to speak of (was a sunday). i thought for a second that i must have gone on the wrong day.
looks like im going to call a few mates for a free lunch. nothing beats a free feed.
Don't get too excited, unless you're prepared to wait for hours. I'm a cheepskate but I wouldn't bother.
Line isn't too long, it isn't like the lines that were in Perth. They are pretty quick getting through people (myself being one of the early ones when there was maybe 50)
They are doing all Burgers except steak and salad for free (any menu item as is otherwise you will be surcharged).
Line when I left maybe 70 people long now but this is twice as big as Mt Lawley so it is in and out quick.
I've only eaten at the Canberra (Belconnen) store, can't say they were anything special, in fact for the price I would have hoped for more.
That being said, free is free.
any photos of the line?
i couldn't be bothered and it wasn't spectacular as the shafto lane line :p
some people there were taking pics of themselves waiting in line. and this one tradie reached across me to take a photo of the free burger sign.
I went in to see if there was going to be a long wait, and unfortunately to me it was going to be a long wait if I wanted a free burger.. so decided to get myself some Sushi Sushi instead for lunch…
And yes i also saw half a dozen people taking photos of the free burger sign =/
aww, sucks that you missed out :(

i was going to ask that guy if he wanted my print-out of the above .jpg lol
Should have come dead on 11, the whole line became nothing when the doors opened until security started spruiking people (trying to get out of the rain).
I was in line at just prior to 10:30 (1st, after the line being relocated a few times) and the majority turned up 10:45 and after.
There should be plenty later cause the Grill'd Boss took quite a few at the start (when there was half the line) asking us to wave our hands.
I haven't been to Carousel in a while, is this located upstairs next to the Hoyts?
The advert is misleading, it is right next to Fast Eddies, so I feel a burger war coming on
Just had a veggie burger. Waited 20 mins in line, and 15 mins for food. Was out in 45 mins.
Average food, blown up prices, really.
Ripper tune boris, just down the road apiece.
Thank you
