Good value if you don't mind 2-3 year older technology or looking for used cameras. You can even have Leica (VLux20) for a Panasonic (TZ-10)price $299.

Placed the order just now, but not sure if it will be processed as I couldn't even get an order number in the confirmation email…The fact that their ordering system seems to be very basic doesn't really inspire much confidence, esp. when the deals are going to be ozbargained…
What would be the best camera here for <$100 for taking picture for travelling? Are any discontinued for a reason?
Just old cameras I think, some of them are from the 2009/2010 vintage. The Casio is the one to get if you are looking for a cheap travel camera - geotagging, wide to tele zoom lens all in a reasonably small package.
Looks like our Ozbargainers woke up… many are now out of stock.
Can someone compare
SONY A55 BODY WITH KONICA MINOLTA 18-70MM LENS DIGITAL SLR CAMERA for $329 Delivered
with Canon 1100D $329 (By HarveyNorman)?lol, buy the a55.
Are they even going to restock clearance items? It says 'backordered' but god knows how long or if it'll even happen.
I buy the Leica V-Lux 20 but they can't calculate the postage……(after I put my NSW address) it shown 299+ Freight….
I can't make any payment…
How to pay ?? Please help ~~Insufficient stock available for 101390555005. 1 have not been ordered. That is the reseason. OUT OF STOCKS!
How is that a run-out camera can be placed on back order?
The Sigma DP2 would be of interest: http://www.photocontinental.com.au/categories/P010/P009/P010
Hmmm I wonder what happens if I try to buy…
Hmm, an oversight?
Would pick up the Leica just to be able to enter the fold of cork-sniffing Leica owners. Membership to that club is typically more than $300.
Yes except that the low end "Leicas" are just re-shelled Panasonics so you'd soon be sniggered & sneered out of that tosspot club.
Such is the manner of my exit from most clubs.
Lots of other reasonable specials spread throughout their website.
Anyone be able to order? I got some error with postage …
It appears that the backordered products are still considered as part of their normal line up instead of being discontinued. If you go to the product page of Sony A55 (backordered) and Leica V-Lux (in stock), you'll notice that under the "stocked" entry, the V-Lux is "Discontinued" while the Sony is "Normally Stocked". I think for those that are listed as "Normally Stocked", there is still a chance that PhotoContinental may be able to order them from the distributors (similar to the Ted's Pentax deals previously).
That's just my guess though, so don't take my word for it. Best to give them a call tomorrow to confirm.

http://www.photocontinental.com.au/products/102090502215These are some pretty heavy discounts on reasonably recent item across most brands (which means it is unlikely to be a cheap / clearance product batch from a distributor) - honestly, I am worried about what is happening at PhotoContinental.
Thanks :)
Picked up the Q for $149 - free shipping!
I got bought a camera from them. It had no seal and there was a picture on the camera. The picture was a ton of camera boxes on top of each other. Had a little video of the same thing with some music.
I suppose Photo Continental test the cameras before shipping them?
LUX20 sounds nice…
Doesn't need it at all, but for that red dot…
