This version has 10 DLCs with it, but the base game is available for 5 bucks. It's not now as popular as the 'Dragonporn' game, but it's worth checking out. Skyrim is still rather expensive.

Great game, I paid more than this for it. Saying Skyrim is a bit expensive is not really related though. They have very different game play styles.
It was mostly the similarity between the names Dragon Age and Dragon Born that made me link them. BTW there is a good Japanese site called Dragon Porn that showcases newer (mostly cosmetically attractive mods) with lots of screen shots and links (usually to the nexus).
(I hope my account doesn't get canned because OzBargain thinks I'm a spammer because of my use of the word p0rn).
brilliant game
pity DA2 was shit
Never heard of this, but I'll give it a spin based purely in the screenshot of the disembowelled thingy.
USD$10.98 here, but buying direct from Steam has about a $2.50 value I'd say.
its 7.49 in the US, 40% cheaper than here… sorry no bargain, region pricing is dodgy.. I'm going to have to neg, I dont consider something digitally delivered a bargin if its cheaper in the US AND the UK, in fact at 40% its a rip off.
Are you able to get the US steam version without having to make a fake US account using fake IP address?
my point is that were getting ripped of in australia!
how can getting ripped of be a bargain?
It's a knotty issue.
On the one hand, we're getting ripped off. I agree with taking a moral stand against that. On the other hand, this is the best price we can get for Steam without resorting to gifting from a friend in another country or VPNing.
I think I'll remove my pos. But I wouldn't have voted neg.
DA:O is still quite a good game, it's worth the $5, but the DLCs might not be worth the extra $7.49.
Amazon was selling this one ++ all DLC + DAO2 (no dlc) for 9.99. I'm will not neg this because Amazon price is not available right now, but I'd advise to wait because this price is not a good one.
It's a good game, but getting the DLC to work is a real bitch.
For that reason, I'd recommend to skip getting anything extra than just the vanilla game.
there's been better prices for this, it was on clearance from EB for $8 and there have been plenty of physical copies floating around for $10 - 15 from well regarded stores.
still… not a BAD price per se, just putting it out there that you can get a physical copy for around the same price or slightly less if anyone prefers it.
Purchased Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition recently as part of JB HiFi 2 for $20 games titles along with Dragon AGE Origins II. For $10 each. Normally $14.95. If anybody is looking for the physical copy on dvd.
