couldn't agree more. I regret buying it, though it fits very well on my Transformer tablet.
These aren't so good if you are constantly writing to them. They are the slowest I have seen.
I've also got one, again, music in the car. Great for the dollars
I love this form factor best usb size ever.
Heres a Micro sd card reader in the same form factor I was able to purchase these same form factor readers for 1.50 ea back in 2012 but can't seem to find any cheaper then $4 now.

If only it would work as a cheap sd card, seems to be missing pins.
oh really you can't use it as a micro sd after it's been pulled? bummer
Do you know this from experience or do you have a photo? just curious is all.i just followed the link above and checked an sd card i have on my desk.
if its missing the correct pins/contacts its not going to work imo
oh! duh hah yeah I never even gave a thought to the pin config yeah Micro sd does have a completely different pin layout and I also didn't notice the shape difference.

H2testw v1.4Great size for ubuntu or mint 14 dual boot.
You don't want to run OS from this. It is slower than my DVD drive.
So they have gone cheaper… :( Mine came with a cap.
Rhodes has about 20
These are really handy if you're playing around with running OpenWRT(& maybe DDWRT) on WiFi routers.
They take up almost no room, add a lot of storage, and you're not likely to lose it if it's plugged in all the time.
