Just saw this at DJ Chatswood.

May be a price error as I thought they were selling the series 5 slate with the Atom processor for this price instead.

The RRP of the atom based one is $999, and the i5 version is $1399 - so @ $999 for the i5 seems about what real world pricing would be (given how inflated RRP vs actual sale price can be)

No links to the deal on their website. However if this is the 128GB unit is it a good deal in my opinion.

Last comparable one the Acer W700 i5/128BM/4GB was selling for $999 at both Dicksmith and officeWorks. Officeworks deal came with the Bluetooth keyboard. Good deal that was.

If it's the current model with i5 and 128GB ssd, keyboard and s-pen etc - It's a reasonably good deal.

If it's the i3 model with 64gb ssd - maybe not that great.
