Yes the Gift to Dine gift card is in this offer as well, but I haven’t included it because it’s useless.

  • Can you only use $10 per transaction? Or will it allow you to pay the whole transaction using EDR points?

    • You can pay multiplies of 10. i.e if your transaction is $294, you can pay $290 with EDR points if you have enough points

    • +2

In my experience, if you are paying in-store at Woolworths, BIG W, BWS or EG Ampol1, or are paying via the MILKRUN app, or paying online at BIG W or BWS, you can choose how many Everyday Rewards Dollars to redeem in the transaction to pay for eligible items, but only in lots of $10. For example, if you are purchasing $42 worth of eligible items and have $60 of Everyday Rewards Dollars available for redemption, you can choose to redeem $0, $10, $20, $30 or $40 for that transaction.

The same should be possible online at Woolworths and at other businesses accepting Everyday Rewards Dollars (i.e. MyDeal, Petstock), but I have no personal experience with this.

      1. Everyday Rewards Dollars currently cannot be redeemed at EG Ampol service stations in Tasmania, as those are currently excluded from the Everyday Rewards program.

  • Can we use the gift cards on good guys commercial website?

    • +1

I have previously been able to get TGG to match the commercial website and then pay with gift cards

      • Was that instore?

  • Thanks for the post.

Can i use Dine gift card for any particular fast food store such as Boost Juice, Sushi Hub, cafe and etc?

    • +3

The Gift To Dine(gifttodine.com.au) gift card can only be exchanged for a participating restaurant's digital gift card on the Gift To Dine website. Think of it as a Prezzee-style gift card that only has digital gift cards for a bunch of random restaurants.

I had a quick look on the Gift To Dine website and could not see anything about Boost Juice or Sushi Hub participating in it. I suggest you have a look yourself to see whether the gift card works for you (and my guess is that it will not).

  • Shame the SHEIN isn't available on the num gift card. At least there's OZsale.

  • Anyone know if the 10 cards per day is a hard limit for reward points or just a store policy?

    • +2

It is a hard limit for the number of gift cards that will earn points per EDR account per day during this deal.

However, staff can choose enforce a different purchase limit if they want to. A mate of mine tried to buy 10× $200 Apple gift cards during the current deal, but the staff member only allowed them to purchase 7. Cue my mate and the staff member trying to figure out which gift cards were activated and which were not…

    no jb, no thanks

    hi
I had asked this in earlier gift card post but did not receive any response .Will appreciate if someone can guide.
How high can I go.Planning to buy an Ikea kitchen worth 20000 + Aud.
Is it possible to buy through 10% off discounted gift card.
Is there a limit or technical constraint .

    • Now is the time to buy a kitchen too. They have 10% off kitchen until 24 March 2025.

Re your other question, it's answered in the wiki. I'm in a hurry, otherwise i'd link it. Wookiemonster knows all things gift cards.

    • should be no ceiling on gift card used on ikea website.
Your situation is better than having ultimate everyone gift card, as ikea online only accept ikea gift card and face value of each card is higher.
So i had 1 more step to convert over 50 gift cards ($4k+) to ikea gift card, then used on ikea website to make the order.
What you need is patience and be organized with excel for recording all cards codes and pin before making the order, then ctrl c ctrl v on ikea website…

I suspect the reason no one has been able to give you a concrete answer yet is that no one seems to know whether you can actually redeem $20,000 worth of IKEA gift cards in one transaction for an IKEA kitchen.

      • In-store: this(imgur.com) is the closest I have seen anyone to get towards spending $20,000 in one transaction, but my estimate indicates this was only ~$4,200 worth of gift cards (and 48 gift cards).

      • Online: the IKEA website(ikea.com) says there is no limit (as long as you finalise your transaction within four hours), and this person said they once redeemed 188 gift cards in one transaction. Maybe ask that person how much they spent in that transaction (and whether they purchased a kitchen).

The next issue is whether you can purchase enough gift cards to reach the $20,000 mark. AFAIK, Woolworths only sells IKEA gift cards in $100 and $200 denominations, which means you would need at least 100 IKEA gift cards. However, this deal is limited to 10 gift cards per account per day, which means a total of 70 gift cards per account during this deal, and that also assumes staff will let you purchase all the gift cards you want to purchase in a transaction. You could always use a second account to get around the 70 limit, but then the next issue is whether you can easily and purchase 100 gift cards during this deal…

Any Home Assistant zigbee users here with Ikea stuff ?
Anything I should know before looking at Ikea stuff to add to my home ?
I don't have their hub, just the ZHA dongle.

    Thanks

    • I used their stuff a bit, particularly buttons and sensors, but these days, there are better and cheaper offerings on Aliexpress, if you're willing to wait.

In particular, their PIR motion sensors chew batteries and need to be replaced every couple of months, while the Aliexpress specials last at least a year. These days though, I use mmwave radar, as presence detection is much more useful than motion. They do need to be wired though, as the radar modules use more power.

  • Should this be showing up in the rewards app? Or is it a hidden promo elsewhere?

    • +1

These weekly gift card offers are usually only advertised in-store and in the catalogue. You don't need to activate anything to participate.

      • Thanks mate, much appreciated

  • Would be good if we could access these gift cards digitally. (buy online and store in ewallet)

    • I didn't neg ya but not that hard going to a Woolies for most people, especially if you getting groceries too.

      • Finding stock is often an issue.

      • I have joined the online/delivery world of shopping :) No more wandering up and down the aisles.

Appreciating not having to go past shops on way back from work or planning the weekend visit and roll the dice if they have any meat left.

        • Lol so you get all your groceries delivered..? Fancy boy

          • @G-rig: $10 for a monthly subscription vs $15 per delivery. The convenience is worth the $2.50 per week.

            • @Redoctober00: So they could deliver your gift card too?

Delivery is alright for some people, don't need it personally.

  • Anyones points tracked yet, was thinking of getting another GC

    • +1

My points showed up and was converted to QFF within minutes

      • Yeah I bought the wrong 'active' GCs but jumped on the chat and they were nice enough to give me a one off 4k points to save returning and rebuying. Good outcome after spending $200.
