You can do either. The simplest would be option B though.

When I used my Citi Debit card earlier in the year it was a minimum of 8 or 9 days before the credit appeared in my account.

The points earned from credit card spend are credited to Star Alliance. I've left mine there for the moment.

Pretty sure you can't do either. You can however book Singapore Airlines flights using Aeroplan points through the Aeroplan website.
