Because OzBargain is powered by YOU. You have a hot bargain or cool scoop that you want to share? Post them on OzBargain!
Reasons:
If you are a merchant, an online retailer, a service provider, etc, and have a great offer that you wish to tell the whole Australia, feel free to post them on OzBargain as well. However, do read our merchant FAQ first for more information on merchant postings.
Most registered members of OzBargain can post deals. Some restrictions will apply to overseas users. Some restrictions might apply outside of normal business hours. Deals posted for certain merchants might be blocked for a variety of reasons – ranging from issues with the retailer (lack of business details, the merchant having excessive negative feedback, or having no feedback at all on the marketplace, or reports of scams / fraud) to other issues like sockpuppeting or SPAM.
If you are a new user, don't write “please be gentle, I'm a new user”. There will be a yellow “L” plate next to your username to indicate that it's your first post, and a red P plate to indicate that you're still a new poster.
Read the Deal Posting Guidelines before you start posting; the guidelines have been written to help your post do even better and to avoid some of the mistakes other new users have made,
Users who have been placed in the Penalty Box, will not be able to submit deals until the penalty expires.
Remember, sockpuppeting is not tolerated on Ozbargain! If you have anything to do with the store, brand or products that you're posting for, you'll need to declare that you're associated whenever you post.
See OzBargain's Deal Posting Guidelines.
Quick steps:
The fields on the deal submission form might not be that obvious for new contributors. Please see Deal Posting Guidelines for more explanation.
