Jetstar Platimum MasterCard Charge $250 Excess on Purchase Protection and Extended Warranty Claims

Today I found out that Jetstar Platimum MasterCard Charge charge a $250 Excess Purchase Protection and Extended Warranty Claims. I believe that this is a new charge since they changed their insurer to ACE Insurance. The cover does not cover items such as iphone and ipod's or computer items.

    ANZ don't charge any excess, but happily apply "depreciation" to any extended warranty claim which loses 20% of its value, which is a similar thing.
