      You don't want an insulated jacket for skiing in. You just sweat too much. You want something thin and lightweight that allows you to breathe. That way if its sunny, layer down, if snowy, layer up… If you have an insulated jacket you can't regulate the temp. Also, I doubt this would be waterproof enough to cut it in the snow.

      On a side note, I have North Face ski pants and have used them for 2 seasons plus a trip to Japan… They're awesome!! Totally waterproof and warm, yet breathable.

        Yeah if it costs this much and is only useful as an everyday jacket then what the heck??? Just need a new jacket, I have GoreTex Burton pants I bought last year, keeping an eye out.
