  My in laws had one of these not sure if the same model but honestly the thing was terrible.. battery, build quality etc… save up for a proper e-reader i say

  have tried them - they are horrible
  the ebook reader only read .txt file. It failed to recognised PDF
  the picture viewer has very low resolution that images are washed out.
  movie player only recognise AVI
  only music player works as intended.
  returned the item the next day.

    Thanks for alterting us to this lemon. If an ebook reader doesn't support pdf, epub and mobi, then no-go.It's like an image editor not being able to read pngs, gifs and tiffs.

    I bought one of these this morning. Reads .pdf .mobi .epub files no problems. All I want it for is to read a book, suits my needs perfectly.
