Right now Dan Murphys have the fully imported Peroni for $44.90 a case, which is usually what the Aussie-brewed stuff goes for.
But for some reason if you set your local store as Menai (2234) in the top right corner of the website it drops to $37.95 a case — and will stay at that price, even if you add it to your cart and go for the home delivery option.
My local Dan Murphys had no problems price matching the Menai listing — actually they beat it and gave it to me for $36.95.
So how to purchase this without actually getting it from Menai?
It's $7 delivery or cart changes in price with store.
No joy at Dan's in Oakleigh South, Victoria. $42.85 was as good as I got. Tried; they brought out the manager and we had a chat but at the end of the day they contradicted earlier advice that "all Dans prices are the same". My eyes glazed over as the manager started off on a spiel and I handed over my hard earned, less 5% for the ING paywave of course! Pricks.

Seems like a good price. It's $37.95 at my local stores in Wollongongl (shellharbour and Corrimal).
Good deal but no imported peroni at Parkdale, VIC, so can't comment on the pricematching.
Picked up some imported Becks instead for $41
I think the reason this happens is that the Menai store has some local competition and they're price matching a local independent perhaps?
Trouble is, it's Peroni.

Funny thing is, I have never heard anyone describe a beer as "fine" or "pretty good". It's always the best beer available, or tastes like piss. One would think there are more gradients on the taste scale.
Menai must have a really good independent near by, coronas are also 39.95 a carton
Really good price, is rarely much less than $50 a case these days.
