      The yoke was funny?

      • +6

Now he's just got egg on his face…

        • I think he laughed just before he stuffed eggs into his face. Maybe even $1 worth. :)

PS: Just noticed that OzB site offers me a rep tick box saying I am associated with Uploaded Files. Hahaha.

        • weird

Way to go Broden'ing all the eggs :)

  • +3

I guess it makes sense for them to get rid of stock ASAP - it takes up extremely valuable shelf space that could be selling $500 coffee machines.

    • +9

this is K-mart. $59 coffee machines you mean bonez.

      • +2

Kmart is just a large $2/gift junk store.

        • +2

I have noticed the ammount of crap merchandise they are trying to push out the door. And I also noticed that the tool section looks like the $2 shop tool section!
In another section i was confronted with the "Doggy Doo" toy
          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDyOD1C67J0
And I was seriously WTF? So if you have misbehaved kids then stock up for xmas now as they are on special for $15…

    Imported or local Easter eggs

  • +7

I bet they still make a profit!

  • +6

damn now i feel like going to my 24 hour one and looking, decided to ring them up instead, she just told me half price so not really in my store (belmont vic)

    • Yes, I saw them in Belmont, too. Got a nice gold gift box of chocolates for $2 -half price.

  • +1

Stock up and give to the relatives next year ;)

    • +4

Expired eggs by then. So don't give them to relatives that close to you.

Had an old greek woman come in to coels today complaining we take all the eggs away, she needs some for greek orthodox easter in may. I said we have small solid ones left she say no good. I said you have to buy early then and store them in your fridge, she says - "NO FREEZER EH?!?!?" and shoos me away lol.

  • and then the governement has to subsidise a diabetes epidemic in Bondi !

  • Casula was sold out last Sunday so no 5c eggs there. Guess they don't eat chocolate at the beach suburbs.

    • +2

Maybe they bought them all when they were full priced. Bloody rich people ;)

  • ..i think I have to fly to Bondi to steal this bargain :)

  • +1

Are the eggs organic, free range or caged?

  • +2

I'm just wondering how often someone calls that trolley hotline?

    • When someone uses a lot of them to stage a prank?

    • Right after Today Tonight or A Current Affair does a story on trolley depression.

    • +1

The housos on our street pushed a trolley home and then tipped it on its side and used it as a barbecue.

If you are pushing a trolley and one side of it is black and has bits of burnt sausage stuck to it, thats the one.

    ALL THE EGGS?

  • +13

I got my egg free, it scanned up wrong price so i demanded it was free. There was no way I was paying 7 cents for a 1kg Lindt Bunny.

  • +2

Was at Kmart Burwood earlier tonight, the eggs were 10c!

    • +1

Burwood VIC or NSW? I always get confused

      • NSW FTW!
(except when you are in VIC… the VIC FTW)

      • Burwood VIC :)

    • 5c too much!! :)

    • +3

Alas there's a Kmart in both Burwoods. Could we persuade you Victorians to rename your Burwood as Vurwood to avoid future confusion? Sounds better than Nurwood. :)

      • Nurwood sounds pretty good to me :•]

      • Durwood: is easier for them to pronounce :b

  • so are these all [Made In China] chocolate??

  • +1

Went to Kmart sanctuary lakes Melbourne, cheapest I could see was $0.50 for some small low quality eggs, large red tulip bunny was $2.00, small red tulip bunny was $1.00

    • They have next year's eggs out already.

  • Went within 24 hours of posting. All sold.
