  • Hm I think eBay on OzBargain needs ABN number, no?

  • +7

    Regardless of any ABN/ACN.

I have purchased a pair (actually, two pairs at the same time) of 'Vans' from this seller, and they were counterfeits.

Much heavier than genuine Vans. The printing (logo etc) inside the shoe was 'wrong'. My son would not wear them, so I had to give them away.

    • thanks for the warning!!

      • In that case Fake Vans.

    • that is bull dust

this seller has more then 84000 positive feedback's with not one single remark about selling anything which is counterfeit, looks like he has many many happy customers!

      just to be fair here

  • jeez. ive just bought a pair. time for the old neg feedback

  • They're fake.

As if it matters regarding positive eBay votes. It's the same with the asics fakes on eBay, they're everywhere. Most people accept that if the item is half price then they'll take their chances. These are no different. Aussie consumers aren't protected here… Buyer beware.

    • It makes no sense how they can actually be fake. In the last 6 months he has had 1 neg feed back. In the last 6 months he has had 16 neutral. 1 person has said they are fake vans.

I don't see how people would look over the fact they are fake when giving feedback just because they are cheap. I think it give more reason to give negative feedback.

  • Please look at the NEUTRAL feedback.

Also. I have no reasons to lie.

  • If they are fake, they should sell it for Yuan 39.95 instead.

    • BTW I bought 2 for $100 from Paulswarehouse a few weeks ago.

No, (strangely enough) most people can't even pick fakes; or if they can' don't care. As a SneakerHead, I can pick them out a mile away and would NEVER condone buying counterfeits!

More about this matter has come back to me.

As well as the weight, and the branding. When compared with genuine Vans, the colours of the fake ones were 'flatter' - not so bright, nor as clean and 'crisp', as the real thing.

I found that the seller was a store called Boarders in Brookvale. I am guessing that they 'feed' a few fakes into their on-line sales (at cheaper prices than their genuine items).

You can see that some of their Vans are listed at higher prices.

They have another eBay account http://stores.ebay.com.au/Boarders-inc-2
