        Hardly - why have 'daylight savings' when we have huge amounts of sunlight during the day regardless? Dayligh Savings only makes sense in winter, not summer.

          To be fair the vast majority of WAs income comes from mining and petroleum. Lots of people getting up early to start 6am in the field.

          It's a different story in VIC where Melburnites have the run of the place.

          all good footywiz, happy to have the discussion. :-) Personally speaking I figure in summer we have enough daylight as it is, I like the night as it's starting to cool down and be more bearable, why put that off and make the night relatively speaking hotter?
