My Amex card with first fee year 1 is up for renewal.
Will cancel it and get a new Amex card with no or VERY LOW annual fee but need LOTS OF BONUS POINTS to entice me to signup.
Please post the best deal that you have seen.

Just be wary of the consequences on your credit history of continually applying for credit. May adversely affect your ability to obtain credit/loans in the short-term for other things (e.g. home loans).
Hi, no need for a loan or home loan. Thanks for the concern though.
if you're keen on a annual complementary domestic return flight for a $149 annual fee + 15,000 Amex rewards points (through referral) when you sign up, get the Edge Platinum.
You can then convert the Amex points to other programs (except Quantas FF) and most conversion rates are 1:1
Are you after Amex rewards, Qantas FF or Velocity?
Gold charge card has 30k bonus amex points using a referral and a $130 annual fee. It is a charge card though, not a credit card.
Tio above mentioned the Edge Platinum which is a good value card.
If you're after velocity there is the Velocity Gold Amex for $99 first year with 20k bonus points.
Let me know if you need more info or links.
