  Be careful: the LP-60 has a power supply that is not compatible with our AC power and requires a transformer. The more expensive LP-120 does have a variable power supply and can be used with a plug adaptor.

  I have 2 of these. The first one works flawlessly, second one had a fair bit of firmware issue. Beware of firmware upgrades.otherwise great product, easy to setup and half decent speed.

  Have we got a definitive answer to the question, can you buy external hard drives from Amazon and plug them in here in Aus? Is that a general rule or a WD rule?

    I don't see why not. UK have the same voltage as us. I am not an electrician though, so don't quote me.

  I read these are a bugger to power don IE running 24/7 unless you access the webpage and shut them down that way. Also quite a few firmware issues.
  Something like that.
