Looking to buy some Sennheiser hd650s and saw that kogan is out of stock. Cheapest i can see is "eglobal" on staticice. Wondering if anyone has any experience with them. Just gotta make sure the headphones are genuine. If not anyone know the cheapest seller of genuine 650s?

Yeah, you need something powerful to drive these. I haven't used mine a whole heap since getting them, but they are fking awesome.
My headphone amp soundcard died recently so I can't really use them until I get another soundcard as they are too quit unless driven well.
Yeah without an amp they don't even reach volume levels high enough for comfortable listening.
Soundcard usually doesn't work the same as an amp. What kind of epic soundcard do you have that also amps?

eGlobal isn't from Aus. Their warehouses are based in Asia, and they take around 3 weeks to ship.
Also, their advertised prices don't include shipping I believe.
I would be better off going with Amazon, it would take the same amount of time and might be cheaper if you're willing to wait for prices to drop.

Eglobal (and DWIdigitalcameras - owned by the same company), are usually known for 'grey imports'. Usually, their products will work the same - it's just that Sennheiser internationl might not honour its warranty.

I posted a thread a few months ago with the HD650s at $289. These go on sale quite often, but usually between the $300 to $350 range. Make sure you check all the different Amazon websites! (US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, etc.) I recall Black Friday sales had them around $275.
Great headphones, by the way. I presume you have an amp ready?
