          to make sure your actually a registered business, I've never heard of your company before and I don't want to just give my personal details out before doing a bit of research.
          most companies list their abn on their website, I'm wondering now why were you so hesitant on not providing it.

          I was never hesitant and there is no legal requirement to put ABN on the website. However, I agree that it will save time for customers to look for my details if I put it on the website.

          I have got .com.au domain which can only be registerered by people with legimate ABN. Please go ahead with the order and your details are all safe. You will be paying through Paypal so no account details will be submitted to me.
