Yes that is correct. I will change the text.
Whatever happened to -modest- (typically, $2.00) Coop Membership share cost? (Also: That $2.00 is -returned- if you later resign)
Its been twenty dollars as long as I can remember 10+ years. But you are correct your share can be cashed in for whatever value you paid originally.
NO STORES IN South AU…!! :-/
I really would have liked to buy, eg:
"For the Love of Physics" Walter Lewin (fr .NL)
(Cf his 3 MIT Open CourseWare Phys intro courses
terrific lecturer; cf his 1 hr book-promo talk.)In -hardcover- for $22.75 or less (in-store, as member) :-(
In -softcover- for $11.04 or less (in-store, as member)How about a bit of a description in the title what this is even about? No idea what you're selling!
I agree, although I'm in this ad and still no idea what I could buy…
Might be worth putting 'Up to 35% for Members' in description.
Tags for this deal give a hint:
Books & Magazines
Art Sets
Beauty Products
Fiction Books
Tech Gear(Maybe the vendor is like UniBooks…?)
Have updated description with tags. We used to be 'Co-op Bookshop' now we are just 'the Co-op'.
The problem is that when I am scanning the new deals posted for things I am interested in, I want to have an idea what is being offered. As a single male, I don't bother opening deals on free nappies etc. If it something I might like, I proceed to open the page to find out further details. I shouldn't have to open the deal to read the description to try and decipher what is being offered, let alone have to examine the tags to deduce what the store is about.
Saying 10% off and free delivery tells me nothing about the offer. How about something like:
coop.com.au (Art Sets, Beauty Products,Fiction Books, Tech Gear) 35% off Store Wide 24 Hour Sale. in-Store or Free Shipping OnlineOnce coop.com.au is a household name you might be able to drop the description. There is no need for a description for SuperCheapAuto for example. Just remember not everyone knows what the store you use deals in. It took a while to figure out what theiconic was, it might be popular with a certain demographic, but there are many others who have never heard of them or used them before and have no idea what kind of store it is. Thanks for posting the deal but I hope in future people can make it a bit clearer when writing the deal, especially the titles.
"Up to" and "for members" (membership costs $20).
