  Daughter has this Ikea. It's huge and very plain looking, but practical IF the sleeping part is more important than the sitting. Great to sleep on - plenty of room and the "mattresses" are firm but comfortable. As far as a sofa is concerned it's not particularly comfortable because of the width of the seat and the fact that it doesn't have separate cushions. It's like a cushioned park bench. There are plenty of good fold under sofas beds which are stylish and comfortable to sit on.

  It's a decent couch and is an excellent bed. If you get a decent futon mattress they are way better as beds than most sofa beds with springs.
