  • is it online only?

    • It's in store as well. They call it the 'be quick' sale in store.

  • Thanks I just bought my son a scooter he has been wanting for this birthday next month :)

  • Thanks OP, that's my daughters birthday present sorted!
Free delivery was a bonus :)

  • The skateboards and longboards seem like a good price. I can't find much info on any of them though. Rebel seems to be the only store that sells these particular brands.

i have been down to rebel this morning and being a seasoned vet i would say only the cruisers are worth buying in the shortboards. the birdhouse decks are not worth it unless buying for your kid. they are very cheap looking and although tempted to buy the titanium series stabb model the deck is the only redeeming thing. it would need regripped as there is a birdhouse writing across the whole of the grip which looks tacky. the trucks look like they would break after a few sessions and the wheels in my opinion far to soft.

i picked up a blind crusier as they are well worth it. the wood on the blind is rock hard and the bearings are abec7 which are okay but they are generic so may not last if a seasoned sessioner. the other crusiers look pretty good as well.

dont know much about longboards but the trucks are very generic.

i would say most stores are stocked, my local had about 30 boards

    • Thanks for the info.
In your opinion are the nano28" or 22" retro looking skateboards good, my girls aged 9 and 5 are wanting to learn to skate and would most probably gravitate to these rather than the Blind 29" Cruiser Skateboard, which I believe is the one you bought and recommend.
Are the nanos good prices, my brother said he's seen them for about $25.00 elsewhere in the last couple of months.

      • I bought the nano 22" and left a review below. Overall, I think it's pretty good for $25.

  • Thanks OP! Abandc2008, is there a code for free delivery please? Thanks!

I think I got free shipping because I ordered the 'skate shoes' and they had free shipping on apparel and footwear.

      • Ah thanks heaps! :)

  • A short review by an unqualified reviewer…

I had $35 burning a hole in my pocket so I picked up these two:
    http://www.rebelsport.com.au/eng/product/adrenalin-transport…
    http://www.rebelsport.com.au/eng/product/raw-22-nano-skatebo…

Firstly the $10 transporter. This board is garbage. Do not buy this board, even for your least favourite child. The plastic trucks are tight but if you loosen them they're too loose. The wheels have a tiny contact area and get hot to the touch, and are so soft they will pick up small rocks. The bearings are unbearably loose. The grip on the deck is like cheap sandpaper which flakes off.

The $25 nano seems to be good value for money, although longevity may be a concern. This board is fast. The wheels seem okay and the bearings are obviously quite quick. The deck is all plastic and pretty flexible, which did mean some bouncing in my movements when I first tried it. This is a board I will keep riding.

  • the micro mini scooters are showing on the website as back to full RRP ($119). Picked one up at Rebel Parramatta for half price still. They had 1 left as of yesterday afternoon.

  • bought a birdhouse platinum for my kid's birthday present in a couple of months. He'd be lucky if I share it with him. Thanks OP!
