$7.95 Postage on a $13 cover has killed this deal for me.

Your right about the Australia Post rates, too high compared to overseas competitors e.g. Chinese sellers on eBay.

Actually the stuff coming in from China is handled by Australia Post when it arrives in Australia, they handle it and deliver it, so I really don't see your point?
Yeah, cumbersome ordering process. I just registered in order to purchase 3 wemo switches. Then see shipping charges anywhere from $24.95 to $35.95 (or maybe $10 if I "call to Check Availability" … what the?)

Why can't you have shipping calculators on your product pages? Is it that hard? Or is it about gathering the database details?We do apologize for the trouble. We are working on it as we have only upgraded our website to this all new interface for less than a month, we will definitely looking at getting a shipping estimator on the product page. Meanwhile we do have the calculator in the cart, so you wouldn't have to actually sign in or register to get a quote (And NO, this is not about gathering database). We understand it is a bit cumbersome to go to the cart to check postage, but we will be considering putting the shipping calculator in product page at a higher priority for our web team.
For the $10 pickup, that is WITH PRIORITY HANDLING. With that regards, the item will be prepped and ready for pick up on the same business day if order placed before 3pm, subject to availability. And NO, we do not rip off our customers and ask for $10 for normal pick up, in which normal pick up is at no extra charge :)
Depending on your area, Sydney metro area for shipping 3x Wemo unit is only $12.95 via courier. However $25.95 if requested to be shipped to a PO Box or via Australia Post.
