My god the sound out of these cans are unbelievable for $20. They're like a HD201 but with bass (HD201 has just a litttle bit better clarity in highs and mids)
And COTD's delivery has definitely restored my faith in their name, I won't be checking their site until some other OzB member posts up a deal for them though (also as long as no more stories of ex-COTD employees come and whistleblow them) - miraculous for a COTD order ahaha

On the upside, having used these for the last 3 hours, I have to say I'm impressed.. There's a lot of fun to be had with these, as I can turn the volume right up and it still holds, very minimal distortion.. and thats with some drum & bass..
Oh awesome, I'm glad to hear that D&B goes well with these cans. I also read that burn in does actually do something with these. We shall see.

Just said mine was being dispatched. If orders are received within the same 12 hour period (some orders fufilled before ones made later) I wonder why there has to be a variation of 4+ days in receiving the headphones. Some haven't even had their orders dispatched. I live in an inner city area in Sydney and posted to my twitter account the deal to get 'faster delivery'.
I'd guess the weekend had something to do with it.
But yeah, spamming the deal to my facebook friend didn't do anything.
I received my headphones today. I am very surprised by the speed of delivery. I thought I had to wait a few weeks to get something from COTD. I haven't opened it yet because I just can't get my head around the fact that it is here in front of me.

I have them around my head now and I am very impressed. I am no audiophile but these sound far better than you would expect for $20. This is probably my best Ozbargain buy so far.

Got mine today - very fast delivery, must praise CoTD this time. The headphones are EXCELLENT! I was gonna buy the M50 for $110 but I am so glad I got these instead. Very comfortable, very good build, sound quality is amazing for $20. Very happy.

very comfortable headphones feels like the ATH-M50 with the fitting around your ears. apart from that the sound is muddy but its got the AT signature style of sound though. cant complain for $20 to replace my super uncomfortable $5 TDK for gaming. crap headphones but a bargain at $20.

received mine too. was expecting cheap tinny sound at this price but these have loads of bass and comfortable to wear. i like them better than my grado sr60 which were 100 bux
Well, agree on the comfort side, but I think grado sound is better. Anyway one is close can and the other is open can so no use comparing
Received mine about an hour ago and though I haven't really had any proper headphones before. They are Excellent! Only thing is they are a little heavy and bulky and don't fold at all so probably not the headphones you would take out but they're great for the price! I was very apprehensive paying $100+ for headphones since im no expert on them so they're perfect for me. Has anyone worn these in public or are these ones strictly for at home use?

Mine arrived today. For $20 can't really complain. For cheap headphones, they sound better than the cheapo Sennheiser 201s, but they aren't the most comfortable headphones to wear. The head rest is constantly pushing down on you and they are bulky as. Now waiting on the next cheapo Kogan $9 headphones. I have no idea why I bought so many cheap headphones that I don't need :)

As $60-$80 Headphones that they are.. Not bad.
at $19, well, crazy bargain.
Analyzing them at their true market value. I'd say:
Overall SQ is good, no noticeable distortion.
Bass is reasonable. Midrange is a tad bright, affecting female vocals, and some guitar. may respond to equalization. Treble suffers from excessive sibilance, but it's bearable.
Soundstage,is, well, OK for headphones.
Contrary to some comments above, I found them quite light, and very comfortable. perhaps you're comparing these to more portable over-ear phones? These certainly aren't portable. If you have a large head, they may be a bit tight, but that's all..
No brainier buy if they appear at this price again, even as spares to your higher end phones!
