    Is it worth to spend this much on a gaming headset?

      For 80$ this isn't a bad choice at all. Most more comfy and better quality headsets are over $50 but that isn't to say there aren't some decent ones under $50.
      There are a few turtle beach headsets that aren't bad for less then $50. I'd suggest having a look at them and giving them a try at jb hi fi. Gotta make sure your headset it comfortable before you buy it.

      Yes it is worth it if you have a gf that nagged you all the time whenever you play video games with television speakers :p
      Its good for movies :)
