    I'm wondering about this as well. Does anyone know if we can "sync" our existing characters onto a new copy of the game (with the DLCs); or will we have to start all over again with this copy?

      You can use your saved character from the Vanilla version with the DLC. I owned the retail version originally, after I installed it on steam with the GOTY content, my character was still there.

    I am not sure to be honest. I would assume you could, but as I have never tried it, I will not say you can.

    I'm pretty sure you can if you add it to Steam, but I've seen the DLC go for 99c each before (so you'd save $2 if you wait a while).

    EDIT: Yes you can. You'll only get one copy of BL though.

      I'll wait then, not really in a hurry to play Borderlands after hitting lvl 60 and whatnot lol but the DLCs would be cool to play!
