How to take the most advantage from your ING Direct 5% cash back card before it expires?

I am planning to buy coles and woolworths cash cards before 30june ie. before the ing direct cash back offer ends. So i can still take some advantage of 5% off on my groceries, beer and dick smith specials.

        don't many places already offer gift cards at 5% off?

        you also lose interest on the money locked up in the cards …

          Well yes one does lose interest, but the banks give u about 5% per year. Which is subject to tax. I am able to spend 3k easily in 4 months. So i can save on it more than from banks.
