Dick Smith Electronics - Broadway NSW store only. I was there earlier today when the manager put out five (5) only of these D-Link DSM-320 media players for $150.00ea! They are sitting next to the big "on sale" table running up the middle of the store at the moment.
RRP is $399.00 and you can get them from stores on eBay.com.au for about $280.00 Therefore, at $150.00ea, I declare each and every one of these a BARGAIN. :-)
This is somewhat not a bargain….
The item for sale is an old stock (more than 3 years old) that have the following problems.
1. stability issues
2. FF/RWD is basically not working.
3. Wireless G is not suitable for HD contents.
4. Wireless signal very weak even after replacement of antenna
5. stability issues
6. more stability issues
7. stability issues =..=
I've played with too much so called media centre devices.
D-Link is a great brand when it comes to media adaptors,
its just not the DSM 3XX series.
They were early generations that lacks the maturity of its later siblings.
Firstly, please look at the prices of these DSM320s that are actually sold. Plus, no one wants them and you will have a hardtime selling them on EBAY if you are seriously considering in making a profit.
