Ok so i want this phone.

I just want to know your opinion on where to get it.

theres handtec, clove, amazon germany (i think someone on whirlpool said uk one doesnt deliver here), anywhere else?

just gonna monitor those sites to see price but believe handtec ships them 25th.

now i know its grey and warranty etc, but should i wait for say kogan or an aussie retailer? im not fussed to be honest, and my current desire hd is playing up so situation is getting a bit urgent, but ill have to wait either way.

anyone else buying? anyone else bought this?

    I getting one! Have already preregistered with Telstra. Anticipated release date is mid to late April (19th). If you are that desperate order from overseas, they are still on task to ship on 26 March.

      To answer your question anyway, it freezes from time to time and battery is now useless.

    planning to order from handtec as well… not sure if 4G from UK and australia using same frequency or not.

    for what it's worth, i'm keen, have pre-registered with telstra also, will be my third htc replacing the original sensation

    I much prefer HTC products than Samsung, LG, Sony, etc. Loved my Nexus One. I also reckon HTC is a lot more innovative in terms of industrial design and construction quality (teflon-coated unibody Nexus One, polycarbonate unibody used in HTC One X, aluminium in HTC One). How they were let down by short battery life and Sense (arghhh!!)

    If I am buying a phone today I'll pick HTC One over Galaxy S IV or Xperia Z, although I am expecting to keep my current phone for another year so I'll wait for now. Unless HTC releases a new Nexus phone :)

      Unfortunately Sense is a love or hate affair… but why cant you use a different launcher?

        It's a lot more than a launcher.

        I usually just flash to AOSP.

    Heres a few reputable places.

    Mobi City / mobicity.com.au - One of the best. It's delivery can be a hit & miss depending on courier

    Unique Mobiles - Prob 2nd after Mobi City at this point. Okay service, nothing special..

    Techrific / techrific.com.au - One of the more cheaper importers of smartphons

    Dmavo - famous for its lawsuit with apple.

      thanks mate.

      i ended up buying one from handtec, much like the other desperates on whirlpool. now we're all busy refreshing seeing one delay after the other. in the end i reckon all those handtec, amazon, clove etc will get it same time as those buying from aussie retailers.
