Ok so the Samsung Galaxy ACE ain't the smartest smartphone is town nor is it the newest but it could come in one of the cheapest at $134 (free delivery) from Vodafone.

With mathematical skills only Vodafone could posess they applied at 10% discount to the 'normal' price of $179 to arrive, not at a price of $161 but at $134 instead (an extra $27 saved)

Vodafone Pre-Paid so phone obviously locked
but as it's Pre-Paid there's no contract, no ongoing obligations.

Call me a sucker or what but I have ordered one yesterday and the order is honoured.

I cannot vouch for their signal or service capabilities
which of course are legendary (for all the wrong reasons!)

    I have mine on 4.2.2 - Running a newer OS likely makes it worse actually.

  I wouldn't recommend that one as a good bargain.
  Get the Sony Xperia Sola, dual core and faster……

  I can testify to this being a pretty terrible Android device. I'm stuck with it as a work phone and even rooting and ROMing this thing doesn't help much. I'd suggest a pass if you need a useful device. Maybe as a backup or MP3 player but there's cheaper and better out there.
