Was on the fence about this game as jrpg's aren't my thing… But for $29 the bargain hunter in me just can't say no!
Wholeheartedly second the "best game of Vita" verdict. Bought it 6 weeks ago and have put in around 110 hours into it already.
I've only put in 60 hours so far but it's one of those games that you lose track of time with. I've played other JRPG's and loved them at first only to get bored of the grind but the story is so good in P4 that you get sucked back in.

I played this game, I found the story line is good, however the "dungeon" (in TV) bit a bit repetitive. The floor (dungeon) design is too simple (in term of graphic) in my opinion.

Usually two weeks for me.
1-5 day shipping, so chance wont actually ship it for a week from my experience.
It's taken 30-40 days before but the average would be 9-12 days.

The PS2 version was very good. I spent about 230 hours on that back in 2008.
Gold version just improved graphics and new features.
I'm not buying Vita for this game. PSP Vita is a failure

No doubt the Vita has had a poor start sales wise but its by far the best handheld out in my opinion. I've bought and sold two 3DS since owning a Vita. Sales are picking up and great content and PS4 compatibility is coming. That won't interest you though as you have obviously had your mind made up for you. If I could neg your comment more I surely would as that is the failure in my opinion.
My opinion is the game mechanics is mostly the same. Its only good for people who have never played the original. If you really think PS Vita is really good to fork out money for just for this game then that's your opinion. There's no point negging others just for that. Most people who buy Vita because it has that exclusive games on it and that's only several titles, and that's it.
I owned PSP and was way better than Vita on game selections.
PS Vita sales hasn't been great compare to DS Lite or 3DS. Those are facts.
You might get a few new personas but all dungeons are the same routine.
Atlus should have made Persona 5 by now rather doing a revamped/rehashed version of Persona 4.
Also HEAPS of gamers lost trust to Altus when they decided to region lock their games eg. Persona 4 Arena on PS3.

Those are facts. Have you played the original? I played all Personas 2, 3, 3FES, 4 and that's the truth. I'm only expression my opinion for this game P4G and my views on the company which has revamped the same game they released 5 years ago.
