New Sony Xperia SP and L

  Yay! A higher end phones with Xperia U-like Led Lights. Really gimmicky, but I like to customise it with my notifications.

  Still the TFT screens need to go for better LCD or AMOLED. Great addition of LTE on the SP. Front camera quality is pretty poor on both phones as well. Other than that, great mid range phones.

  Personally would expect these to cost around $420 on par with N4.

    The SP will probably be around $400. Hopefully the L will make it under $300 like the U

      If thats the case, the XSP is really good competition against the N4. Although I still feel sony are lacking in the CPU area. They seem to always be slightly behind other brands in there flaship/mid range phones. Otherwise I prefer the build quality and design of Sony and HTC - where samsung fails to impress me in.

        Yeah, Sony has always been lagging behind in terms of the processor. The designs seem alright but i don't seem to like it as much compared to the U and P when they came out. I think the L and SP both look horrible in white :( http://mashable.com/2013/03/18/sony-xperia-sp-xperia-l/

        Their build quality and overall finish is very good for phones. Despite initial doubts i have grown to really like my xperia.

  In Netherlands, the Sony Xperia SP is rumored to go on sale for €399 (about $516) and the Xperia L smartphone is said to be priced at about €279 (about $362).

  Well outside my expectations. Will be a flop until price drops to Xperia sola/U/P prices.
