Hi I was just wondering how long it takes Amazon to deliver to Sydney, as ive heard mixed responses from many people saying they take a long time and many say they arrive before the estimated dates.

I assume he meant Amazon rather than the 3rd party sellers there.
Tracking is terrible dont rely on it as it is never up to date. DHL Global mail is a very poor service, but my coat took 2 weeks to arrive through them.
If they upgrade you to DHL Expedited which they did when I ordered a watch, then its super fast, got my order within 3 days of ordering.
Dont know why they cant just send via USPS..
Amazon usually sends most small to medium packages through iParcel. If ordered on a Thursday or Friday in Sydney I find that I usually get the packages on Tuesday the week after the following week. So about 7 working days. Everyone of my recent orders have arrived well ahead of estimates. The tracking is not as good as UPS or FedEx and there is a lag but generally works.
I've not had any of my recent parcels sent through DHL GM but have had one regular speed parcel sent via DHL which is quicker than iParcel.Haven't ordered that often from Amazon but so far, delivery time has been either very good or excellent.
I remember one time, I bought from a local site (maybe COTD or something) and Amazon on the same day. Amazon one came in like 3-4 days, and I still had not received the parcel from the local company.
Reminder of the crap service/experience we often get here in Aust.

I've always found with my orders that amazon.com standard shipping can take up to a month, if you get the expedited its usually about a week.
Amazon.co.uk is usually less than 2 weeks. Most of mine come in around 6 days.Have you ordered in the last few months? Mine always gets delivered within 7-8 business days (in Metro Sydney via Standard delivery)
Yeah, I've done probably 20 orders since January, so I definitely have. I've mostly stopped ordering from amazon.com now because once the vat is removed from the things I order amazon.co.uk is usually cheaper and way faster postage. Larger items from amazon.com come faster, because the "standard" shipping isn't the same as they use with cd's and books, which usually take 3 weeks to get to me in Adelaide…
Depends who you buy from.
