Hello fellow ozbargainers,
I have just got the Wharfedale Crystal 825W 5.1 speaker system from JB Hi fi sale and wanted to pair with a descent AV reciever. Looking for a 5.1 or a 7.1 if its within the price range?
Can anyone help me out to look for a deal or point me in the right direction.

Most receivers will have enough "power" to run your speakers, you shouldn't worry about power at all.
Look at the features, sound quality and price point.
For my setup (I don't like wasting space) I bought a pioneer VSX-S300, which is a slimline receiver. (if you ever open a receiver you'll find it's mostly empty space) and pioneer got rid of all this empty space.
I didn't end up using it as I sold my speakers, and i'm looking for a more minimalistic TV only setup so if you're interested PM me.
