Yeah but, can you dowload mp3's from Amazon in Oz? Every time I've tried, says "no, not available".

    • You need a US address (easy to fake), and a credit card that gets past their region blocking (e.g. my Australian issued American Express card works.)

I'm still baffled that stores dont give you the choice of FLAC format.

    • thats because flac is not yet the industry standard as mp3 is. Apple has its own competing lossless format so I suspect stores are hesitant in backing a horse till there is a favourite.

Maybe, but why not offer everything AAC, OGG, etc…Bandcamp does, and often it's free, surely big sites likre amazon have the capability.

  • It would have been better if the choice was much wider before they gave it the Gold Box label.

  • tried before but no success with my 28 degrees card. Please share how if anyone can.

I have visa and master cards, no amex.

  • you need a citibank or amex card as far as i know

  • Might be a good time to cash in that $10 voucher we got a while back.

  • Easiest way I've found to buy Amazon MP3s is to create a new Amazon account with a US address and no credit card, then use your existing Amazon account to buy gift cards for the US account and do your buying with those. You'll still need to use a VPN when buying the MP3s, though.
