I agree, we've been with them for 3 years and the only useful sales for existing customers are the SSL certificates when they run those.
Apart from that the hosting is pretty good.
I believe they have loyalty discounts a couple times a year for existing customers but they are generally a lot smaller than the deals they have more regularly for new customers.

works out about $52 for 3 years hosting (economy) (ie. $17-ish/year) seems reasonable enough.
I have ventrsip and server in seconds.IMO Ventraip are much more pro compare to server in second. I never had any issue with ventraip for the last 3 year. Only open ticket once for downtime issue because infected with malware and they help me to fix it in no time. While with sis, i need to open around 8 ticket before initial used.
Business plan on ventraip give you a freedom on cpanel while sis had some restriction such as addon domain which is pain in the butt. You need to open a ticket for asking them to add a domain.

Used VentraIP twice in the past, both times I had an extremely positive experience. Happy to lock in with them for a while.
Ventra brings out a lot of specials for new customers but never does anything for existing customers.
I have been with them for 5 years and am now considering changing.
Servers in seconds seems to do good plans to existing customers also.
