I've been looking around to replace some really old and crappy computer speakers, but there are too many choices!
On a friend's set up, there's a 2.0 system of the Bose Companion 2 Series II Multimedia Speaker System, and while they aren't the best speakers, they are quite punchy, and definitely sound better than what I have.
I would use the computer speakers mainly for music, and rarely for vodcasts (I usually use headphones for this).
I have limited space, so I would only go for a 2.0 or 2.1 system, as I don't watch that many movies on the computer. It would be preferable for the power switch (if applicable) to be easily accessible.
What speakers would everyone here recommend I go for, if my budget was around $150 (the price of the Bose speakers my friend has).
Swan m10 or Harmon Kardon Soundsticks. General consensus is to stay away from ripoff brands like bose
