Travel Insurance for A Senior

Hi,

My mother (Age 82) is still very fit and is going on a cruise to Dubai and flying home via Qantas.

The age loading on all the travel insurance companies I have tried online are pretty hefty. Does anyone know
of a travel insurance company that gives the best rates for seniors.

    Not too sure about the best rates, but I found that Medibank Private travel insurance covered pre-existing conditions that other insurers wouldn't go near! And their rates were very competitive.

    I've used Australia Post and when I had to claim, the service was fantistic. Not sure on price comparision for seniors though. What about the insurance offered with some credit cards?

    You can try 1Cover.com.au. The rates would be close to $400.

    don't know about international but for domestic anz offers free travel insurance for seniors
