Is it worth buying a 50cc scooter? Budget $1500

Hi Guys,
Need some advice and help

I am wanting to buy a scooter (50 cc ones that dont require bike license) not for the everyday commute.
Just everynow and then going to shops or cruise to the beach.
I have my own car so this wont be my main transport.

I have around $1500 , what can I get? SHOULD I BUY NEW OR SECONDHAND ?

    hi, i was looking like a electric scooter look-a-like scooter but not sure what does it call. I only saw few times that someone was riding on it and drive away. There is some sort of "RED" or "REV" sticker on it body, do you know what does that call? tried google search and google image, but could not find any of it.
