  • I purchased five months worth of Unlimited vouchers on my ING card during the last 30% off deal at Coles, which made it $26.53/mo, in addition to 30% off signup and another $50 back through StartHere - effectively $18.43/mo in this first six months. So keep an eye out for another supermarket discount if you're keen on Amaysim.

Kinda regret it in my case as it turned out the Optus network has poor indoor reception in my area compared to Telstra/Vodafone, and Kogan came out with their Telstra-based plans shortly after. Apart from that, I've been pleased with Amaysim - no hassle stackable voucher recharge system and seemingly decent customer service.

    • Absolutely agree with your comment, I did the same thing and luck I only planned for three months (leave after the cashback haha!!) Forgot to change the payment method so paid one month on full (Silly me!!0, but then Starthere for some reason credit me an extra 1 X $50 cash back. So all up I paid about $60 for two mobile with 3 months of unlimited access.

But Optus is shocking in the Inner west area which I hang out a lot. If your are not so keen on changing suuplier all the time and just want a worry free solution, I think Kogan and Aldi is not bad but I have not try personally.

If you dont mind porting in and out every 30 days, Just go and nuy those 10 dollar Telstra $30 prepaid pack, port you number in, then use a Vodafone $2 sim to port out when credit used up, 24 hjousr later, open a new Telstra sim pack and port back in.

  • How is this better than Vaya unlimited for $29? http://www.vaya.net.au/?option=Mobile&simonly
Is it just because its prepaid?
This is a serious question as I'm currently looking for a new mobile plan.

  • If this is the Amaysim approach to retaining users, they'll be hemorrhaging customers at a fairly spectacular rate. They need to do better than Kogan, Aldi etc. when they are on a network that doesn't offer the reach of the 2nd class part of the Tel$tra fiefdom. And 'better' doesn't mean producing offers than encourage churn like this one appears to…

(I'm an Amaysim user preparing to 'pack my bags') :-)
