Professional Finishign Dryer- more professional than you think!

    • That's probably the worst spot in the ad to make a spelling mistake! FAIL!

      • Hehe true that

        • no, English is not my first language.

Sorry if there are spelling mistakes.

      • +1

can you tell me where is the mistake, so we can change it, thank you!

        • In the image used as a preview here, the image of the device on your site.

Apparently they are superhuman and speak every language in the world perfectly, but if that were the case why would they be so petty as to need to belittle others

        • +1

Thank you mycosys, its my mistake when I make the image.

good to list it here, otherwise I will keep using the wrong image. : )

    • image changed, thank you for pointing out!

  • The world's first! What have people been doing all of these years without one? Oh, probably just using a towel, or a hairdryer.

    • If "the world's first," how come it is "quieter than others in its class?"

      • Should be "No other one in its class is quieter!" ;)

        • +1

How about "No other one in its class is quieter, or noisier!" - as the vendor has noted it is a world first, and a new product! :)

        • thank you for the re-wording.

        • dont listen to them - there are some very perry people on ozbargain.

        • I prefer being referred to as peppy, personally. :)

      • that means other machines come after Aeolus is not as quieter as Aeolus.

    • probably using a drier that doesnt use an ion generator i suppose. not sure why you would need an ion generator in a dog dryer - maybe it helps reduce static fluff, or increase it.
I presume (to mafmouf) that most in the class also dont have this generator, making the quietness claim more meaningful

      • ion function reduces static, as for dogs like maltese, shih tzu their coat need to be silky looking after grooming and when they are in the show ring.

  • And where is the bargain? Sounds like an ad to me.

    • hmmm I nearly posted exactly the same comment. I noticed their ad has $730 crossed out.

      • You are right, its reduced temporary from $730. We have pricing rules to follow, so $590 is already a low price.

Looks like a leaf blower on a gearbox stand. Revolutionary stuff.

    • good try, if a leaf blower can get the same result, why not?

      • -1

I guess he thinks an oxy-torch makes a great soldering iron, and a rattle gun is ideal for watch screws too

      • +1

Hmmm, then I might just try a leaf blower on my dog. It might be fun. Better not set the reverse function though.

  • +2

Is this for dogs who forget to shake?

    • groomers have 2 different kind of dryers, the first one is called blower - quickly dry the coat right after the washing the dogs. the second is finishing dryer - works similar to human hair dryer to gently straighten the hair, or make hair fluffy. those dryers are the must have products for groomers, and for dog show people .

  • I have just one question, if it is OZgroomingworld, why the hell is the temp in F?

      • +1

        if you can read http://www.ozgroomingworld.com.au/About-Us/
He never made any attempt to hide his heritage, nor should he. He has every right to be proud of traveling thousands of kilometers to a new home with a new language and culture and making a success of it, despite moving to the most racist country in the 1st world.
Good on you Tony - you are a credit to Australia and her diversity. You obviously love animals and that is something we need more of too.
God on you too for making a business of what you love

        • Thank you mycosys, thank you for your understanding, very appreciated!

I chosen Australia to come because the environment - nice weather, air, beach; because the people - I watch Sydney Olympic Game 2000 on TV when I was in China, lots of TV programs, News on the newspaper reported Australian are great, friendly and helpful; and also because the amount of species of animals in Australia is huge. So I decide to come here.

I don't regret to be here, have had so many great experience so far. People saying bad here mostly because the product is from China, I believe when China become stronger in the future, people will change their wording. Chinese Basketball player YAO Ming said recently that: people only respect you when you are strong enough.

    • sorry, this brand is a USA brand, we used description from the manufacturer.

      • -1
        • thats really your option, but please pick your wording carefully, its a public forum, we are just share the information, if you dont like it, you don't need to say bad words.

        • yes, is USA brand, but made in China.

        • Like Apple, Dell, Ryobi, or Just about every other brand in the US atm

        • what makes you think a peice of professional equipment is a piece of $#17? Your experience in commercial dog grooming, or your prejudice?

        • Nice use of the racist card. The equipment being pedaled on 2 occasions now is cheap chinese crap yet hundreds of dollars being asked for it.

I'm just showing that it isn't quality USA made stuff, whatever that is, and that it is in fact from china and worth stuff all.

So you are wrong on a few levels, care not to fall off that horse mate.

        • Hi Tommytill, this is my last reply to your post in this listing.

I just joined OZbargain last week, before I only read deals people post on the website, I did not ready any comments, so did not realise on this website there are people like you so much aggressive. please be polite.

You are not in the animal care industry, so you probably do now what this dryer is used for.

You are not from China, and probably have never been to China, so you might not have a correct view of China. I have one relative he came to Australia in 1960, and when I first arrive here in 2004 he took me to manly beach, of course we need to go to toilet, in there he asked me had I even seen those auto-water tap with sensor? oh my god, China is a much more advanced country than what you thought, those water tap we had them in 90s.

The quality of products from China is improving. 20 years ago Japanese cars are not that good well.

        • the 'true brue aussie' comment and the teasing about language seem to belie your statement, but just incase you believe it:

Where do you get the delusion from that everything made in china is 5#!7? There is plenty of garbage made by the 1 in 5 humans who live in china, but there is plenty of great quality stuff too. Virtually all of the highest selling devices in the world are made in china - that doesnt happen if there is no quality.

Honestly you are more likely to have quality controls with US gear these days than ever before too. Their economy has gone down the toilet, and the majority of workers there cant be arsed (I would assert the 2 are linked). US made is no longer an indicator of quality - not by a LONG shot.
Smart US companies have moved their production offshore to china, taiwan, korea etc..

Even more upstarts from those countries have stopped just contracting to them and come out on their own as well (HTC, Samsung, Hyundai, Huawei, Foxconn, LG, Asus, Gigabyte - the list is near infinite)

Welcome to the 21st century tommy - the 1950s are a long long time ago.
Be great if you left the skinhead back there too

        • Tommy - one more thing i am curious about - do you pedal this cart in every apple thread too - we know that minimum half of what they charge on their gear is pure profit, and we know it is entirely chinese made.
I didnt see a history of you haranguing them - tho you seem to have to take on repeatedly a small business person selling industry equipment in an industry you clearly have no clue about.
          What gives?

        • troll much, mycosys?

        • -1

how is defending a seemingly honest small business person from small minded bigots trolling? OR is it just the fact that you cant see the worst of what i was replying to because it was bad enough to get deleted even here?

  • Just use a leaf blower.

    • good try, if a leaf blower can get the same result, why not?

    • good try, if a leaf blower can get the same result, why not?

    • Do you understand that it is supposed to be used either by commercial dog grooming parlours or by extreme enthusiasts/breeders doing dog shows? Commercial gear is generally pricey, I'm not about to pay $5000+ for a coffee machine for home either.

oh great, my pet fish is forever getting wet, i can use this to dry it !
