Looking for a cheap china tab for travel, 7 or 8 inch screen. Something quick enough for using Kindle, the odd games for when I'm waiting at airports/train stations and something for checking out tripiso. GPS would be nice. I have a budget of around 50-100, mainly because even if it's stolen or lost I won't lose sleep over it.

At that price range ($50-$100), I guess you have no choice but those cheap Chinese tablets. People somehow like Ainol or Cube here. You should be able to find some dual core 7" close to $100. For example listing on BuySKU ($50-$100, 7")
