The warehouse i work in is closing down and we have like several hundred pallets to get rid of. Does anyone have any tips for what the quickest, cheapest way is to get rid of them? I'd rather not be shelling out the exorbitant fees to dump them at the tip or in 50 bloody skip bins. Are there places that recycle pallets or are there any enterprising individuals on the ozbargain forum that would like some free pallets? There's a range of sizes including the standard CHEP size (1170mm x 1170mm). Note they are plain pine, not actually Chep pallets. Theres also over a hundred euro pallets (1200 x 1000) and a few 1300 x 1000. The rest are assorted smaller sizes (a couple of big ones too).
Let me know if you want to take some or if you have any ideas how to get rid of them. We have a forklift available to load until friday.
List them on freecycle, or a local facebook classifieds site.
