  • where exactly does it mention free keyboard and mouse?

    • On the front page it mentions Free Kyeboard & mouse.

This offer is only limited for this 1 day sale and then it won't come with anymore until stock runs out. So thats the reason we don't put it into the product page itself… =)

  • I don't get why people wouldn't just buy the laptop and plug it into a monitor?

    • I think one of the main features is that it can be hooked up behind your monitor =)

    • +1

You can also use it as a cheap entertainment centre :)

      • Cheap and small…
Like the DELL Studio Hybrid PC http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx… but only about 40% of the price.
        [ :- { )

        • Hmm. Not sure whether they are comparable. Dell Studio PC has Core2Due + an optical drive + much better spec across the range. This is a nice low powered low noise desktop unit.

Not sure what I'll use it for though.

      • It'll be ok'ish as a HTPC but reading the reviews and feedback it doesn't do HD very well. Just not enough grunt.

  • Nice and cheap.

  • scotty: Basic desktop stuff just like the netbooks. That's all they're designed for. Can double as a bitorrent/usenet machine for downloads as they should be low powered and not give off too much heat.

  • Still no optical drive.
Get a 7" EEEpc (for $90 less) coz this is basically the same thing.

The Asus Nova P20 on the other hand could be a desktop replacement and for <$170 more.
