  I have 6 boxes of this sitting at home. I'd love to know why there is so much of this free OJ going around. Is this a government agenda to raise the Vitamin C levels of the average Aussie? That will never stop the terrorists

    Because people are realising fruit juice is as bad for you as a can of coke so they are becoming less popular hence supply outstripping demand.

  maybe there is an oversupply of oranges right now? my local markets are selling oranges 99c/kg, perhaps the fastest way to get rid of them(without dumping) is making OJ and giving it away…

  Jus stir in some sugar and its as good as a $5 cup from boost juice. They probably add sugar anyway.

    Of course they add sugar, there is more sugar in juice than there is in coke and without the fibre in the actual fruit, this is no different to drinking coke and taking a vitamin.

  Go to Mildura. There are vast fields of orange trees with the fruit falling off and rotting on the ground. Seems OJ producers would rather buy overseas and save a few cents.
