Will the image be erased through wear and tear?

Also, if you dont print on the sides and edges, does that mean the case will have white sides?

    I would also like to add that for some cases the image can reach closer to the edge ( eg Samsung cases, iPad cases etc) it depends on the angle of the slope. Unfortunately the edges of iPhones will be white.
